Finding Me

I have always been the one that took the road less traveled. And this has sometimes been a lonely road. A road of trying to be like someone else, comparing to other’s people road, and a road of not loving me. I tried to follow the traditional path like we say, but it never fit, I never fit. I felt like I was being a fraud. The road less traveled, I knew was my road however, I did not always like this road that I was called to traveled. Regardless, how I felt, God kept taking me down the road less traveled. Soon this road less traveled, took me to the East Side of the Pacific. Where not only the road, but everything was different. At least in my home country it might have been the road less traveled, but it was the road less travelled in a familiar place. I guess I was not seeing what God wanted me to see, and he said You know What I am really going to take you down the road less traveled. I am going to put you in an environment where no one looks like you, no one is shaped like you, no one has your beliefs, values, and norms. Because I need you to see you in all your Greatness that I have put in you. This road less traveled, took me to the other side of the World. A World where sameness was the culture. This is where I began to Find and Love Me.
